Motorola have almost receive the award this year’s comeback after they are gone from the brink of selling his androidtelefon Droid / Milestone at a pace and in quantities that only Apple’s iPhone can trump, in the category of smartphones. In the U.S., Droid has already sold nearly one million units, at shortly over a month, and now sells therefore Milestone (the European name of the Droid) completed in just 2.5 hours, reports Expansys.

During the eleven years Expansys as a reseller so have no product ever sold out as fast as Milestone, but if this is due to insecurity or extreme demand shows yet. Guess it is, however, if the latter, given that Expansys themselves going out with this information.
Expansys received over 1000 pre-orders on the phone during the week before the official launch, but even so literally exploded order form when launch day came, and their stock was over in a few hours. Expansys CEO Rogher Butterworth said:
The demand for the Motorola Milestone has been staggering. We received the units at 10am on Friday, 2.5 hours later we had sold out. A second shipment is already on the way and should be arriving in time for Christmas orders.
If we do not may set this to Swedish retailer so it is nothing short of a scandal, as signed. Time for a mail campaign, again, do you think? Not everyone can or wants to buy a phone in cash through Expansys, but want the ability to hire purchase and bargain purchases of subscriptions.
