Yesterday went out with the Nokia email to everyone who pre-ordered the Nokia N900 through the Nokia Online Shop. We recommend that all customers who order the Nokia N900 from Nokia Online Shop to upgrade to future software update 1.1, which is expected to be available for download in late December. The update provides the Nokia N900 full compatibility with all operators’ SIM cards in the Swedish market as well as some other new features. Once the software update 1.1 is available for download, a link to this will be published on the product page for the Nokia N900. ”
McBeath at Nokia says that it chose this solution because as long as sales are made via the Nokia Store, ensuring that customers get the information about the current software does not work with 3 SIM card yet, and that the updated software (1.1) can be downloaded later in December.
