Sony Ericsson’s Windows Mobile Xperia X2 has already been delayed several times. Now the British Vodafone’s patience run out.

Sony Ericsson’s other Windows Mobile Xperia X2 should have been delivered to Vodafone before Christmas and then the operator would have started selling on an exclusive basis in the UK market. When Sony Ericsson was unable to supply any handsets before Christmas got tired Vodafone in the UK and decided that it would not sell the X2 at all, says The Telegraph.

Vodafone says in a statement that delivery of the phone has been delayed “due to a series of technical problems and we have taken the decision not to implement any launch, when it no longer fits into our planned product portfolio”.

In December, tested Mobile Xperia X2. Our test sample came from the Sony Ericsson then said that the software was finished and the phone would be out in trade within one or two weeks. The day after we published our test online manufacturer announced that it was not satisfied with the software and would move forward sales start.
